Design Process

Phase I Initial Consultation
In this phase project goals are set. A Business Agreement and retainer will be obtained to proceed to the next phase.

Phase II Schematic Design
A preliminary design theory is created. A client presentation is given to select the preferred design. Once client approval given, the preliminary design is further developed in Phase III.

Phase III Design Development and Documentation
All final details are designed for the project. Any plans needed will be prepared in this Phase. A folder is created with all selections for client approval and sign off. All charges for items to be purchased are gathered at this time.

Phase IV Specifications & Purchasing
The furniture and finishes are ordered and paid for by Idée Design during this phase. Idée Design works with the finest vendors to provide our customers with the best service.

Phase V Installation & Completion
This is the day or days the contracted items that have been ordered for the client are delivered and installed. The final invoice is due 7 days prior to the installation day.

Phase VI Follow Up
We love to celebrate with our client on their new living spaces. A Follow Up date is set two weeks after Installation for Idée to show appreciation to our wonderful clients. Often, we develop lasting relationships during projects and this is time set aside to enjoy the project success.
